How much information do you need? at least 8 sources Are particular kinds of sources required? Yes. What will yours be? first hand interviews, journals/magazines, academic papers How current should the information be? Why? As current as possible in regards to magazines, journals and academic papers. No older than four to five years. However first hand interviews, while they should take place within the time frame of the assignment, can deal with people who have tried online services later than five years ago. We want the most current and up to date information so that we are writing an accurate depiction of online dating as it exists today. What are some of the opposing points of view to your argument? Online dating can be expensive and there is always the possibility of connecting with someone unstable through a dating website.

Working thesis: Even though There are some dishonest people, meeting potential dates online can be a lot of fun because it gives you access to people you would never meet in person and many couples have found long-term happiness.

I will use this article in my essay to discuss the importance of friendship. —This source was not exactly working when I tried to view it. However from the description I think that it could be useful in some way.

I will use pieces of this article to discuss the importance of friendship and health.–This isn’t really about online dating but I think it would help with understanding how people are stressed in certain situations and would want to use online dating websites to find there perfect match.

This wikiHow gives tips on how to make friends online which I will use to show the origins of the friendships formed on the April Exiles message board.–This would be helpful with the trying to figure out how people behave on online dating websites.

Brad Paul has written an article focusing on defining friendship and explaining what makes a friendship work. His information will help me relate why the Exiles have remained friends.–This will be good for explain how people make these relationships work.
